Hopefully, this is due to December busy schedules. We can all do better communicating. Thanks much to Rosie Howden, Vi Walker and Ross Ahlich for their officer input to the January newsletter.

Happy New Year to you all! I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas as I did.

We are off to a busy year as we are planning a joint dinner with the men in February. We are trying to work together and what better way than beginning with a dinner. So please say yes if you are called to help us as we couldn't do it without you.

We are also having a rummage sale the 1st week in April. So please start saving your things. Remember we can only use clean clothing. More details to follow later.

And ladies, once again a reminder that your dues are due now. It is still $20.00, so if you only sent in $11.00 we need the remaining $9.00 before we can process it and for you to receive your card. The $11.00 notice you received was a misprint as it is still $20.00. Vi needs your help. So please send it to Vi Walker 3311 Green Rd Midland MI. 48640. If you have any questions you can call her at 989-631-1518. Thanking you in advance.

Both Rosie and Vi asked that Ladies of the Auxiliary please pay particular attention to the note above, as cards are not being mailed until full dues are received. Pat Hanley

On December 13, your children and grandchildren enjoyed a Christmas party hosted by many Auxiliary, SAL & Legion members. Thanks to the Past Commanders, the Kitchen committee, the SAL, the Legion, the Auxiliary and to Past Commander Harvey Ropp for donations of $100 each toward the party. The turnout was great and Mrs. Claus read "The Night Before Christmas" to a mesmerized audience, then Santa arrived and he was almost bowled over by the kids. Presents were distributed according to the signup sheet on the Bar bulletin board, but Santa had his own list and unsigned kids were covered also. Please join Commander Kaminski in thanking Jan Gordon, Lin Holder & Vickie Hammond for their planning, organization and delivery help on this wonderful party.

Happy New Year to all.
